The Garden calls
Sprout Natives is a tiny backyard nursery run by native plants, in Richmond, Virginia. We were overwhelmed with joy when Wilding and Kierstin, two very playful human mates, accepted our invitation to be the faces of our operation.
We grow native plants from local seed for local soil, local wildlife, and local humans who seek to reconnect with the flora, fauna, and natural cycles of this land we share, called Home.

The help we offer
The real work happens in the ground itself. If you need a helping hand, Wilding and Kierstin will answer the call.
- Brush clearing — reclaiming overgrown or neglected ground
- Weeding — clearing space for what wants to grow
- Digging & planting — getting the ground ready for new plants
- Guidance & garden planning — help finding the right spot, or encouragement to go wild
- Garden Presence — A guided hour or two in the garden with Wilding or Kierstin. We walk slow, we stop often, we learn from our plants. Good for those who spend too much time indoors or online. No experience necessary.
